Q&A

  1. How did you start with photo/video?
I’m actually educated within shipping. In 2003 I bought a Canon second digital DSLR 10D camera and started to photograph professionally on part time. Later on the same year, I registered my company and VAT number. I have also studied psychotherapy and I’m a Gestalt Therapist since 2015. I knew from the beginning that it would benefit me in my work with people in front of my camera.
  2. How would you describe your style?
My work is pretty straight forward. Nothing fancy, but really solid work.
  3. What inspires you?
Uh, I'm inspired by a lot of photographers and videographers. An example is Peter Hurley, his motto is to be 10% photographer and 90% therapist.
  4. What is your dream shoot or project?
I would love to do more for my personal project Coffee & Cameras. Travel around the world to shine light on the coffee industry and the people in it.
  5. What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?
    Get out and shoot!

What is in your bag?

  1. What is the most important in your bag?
    Memory cards.
  2. What bag do you use?
I use a mix of bags from ThinkTank and Orca. Clear favorites for photo work are the ThinkTank Retrospective 30 and their Airport Accelerator. For video work I use Orca's OR series, which is absolutely fantastic with e.g. light in the bag.
