Ketil is a film maker based in Copenhagen, Denmark with a candidate degree in Film & Media from Copenhagen University. He has created award winning films, documentaries and series for Danish TV channels DRTV, TV2, TV2 Charly, DK4 during over 20 years. One of Ketil’s projects is Go North, a documentary travel documentary serie that portraits the destinations in a personal and authentic way.

- How did you start with photo/video?
I started producing TV series for Danish TV channels DRTV, TV2 and TV2 Zulu.
- How would you describe your style?
I’m a documentarist. I work with light equipment, mostly handheld work.
- What inspires you?
Good stories.
- What is your dream shoot or project?
A documentary about unique people.
- What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?
The most important is to film and tell stories, the more the better. Don’t be afraid to push the limits and learn from your mistakes. Use the best equipment you can afford and be creative.
What is in your bag?
- What is the most important in your bag?
My cameras. A Panasonic GH5 is my main camera and I use GH5S for low light, combined with Lumix lenses. My most used lens is the 12-35 f 2.8, but I use a whole range of lenses from primes to tele zooms.
- What bag do you use?
LowePro ProTactic 450. It contains everything i use including my drone.
