When Nomatic wanted to launch their brand in Europe, they chose to go by another brand name. So don’t worry, when you purchase a bag from Gomatic, you will get the exact same bags, quality and design, but with a G instead of an N.

Camera Bags

The story about Gomatic’s camera bags is quite interesting, at first, they didn’t make bags that were made for cameras, even though you could use them for that purpose. The famous videographer and YouTuber, Peter McKinnon were a loyal customer of the company at the time and came up with the idea to collaborate with Gomatic, with the purpose to create “his own” camera bag without any compromises.

The collaboration between them resulted in a fantastic series of camera bags, which they also named after Peter McKinnon, the MCKINNON Camera Pack. Jon Richards and Jacob Durham founded Nomatic/Gomatic in 2014, their journey as a company started as a Kickstarter campaign. In the early stages, they hoped to get about 50 orders, but over 6000 people backed their campaign which was the start of something big for them.
