Panasonic GH7 Body
High Performance Video
Continuing its legacy of innovation, Panasonic Lumix GH7 is the latest addition to the renowned Lumix GH series. Known for their exceptional video capabilities, Panasonic’s GH models have been the go-to choice for many creative professionals since the GH4 debuted as the first mirrorless system camera capable of 4K in 2014.
Outstanding Hybrid Performance
The Lumix GH7 is a powerful hybrid camera that excels in both video and still photography. It features a newly developed 25.2MP BSI CMOS sensor, offering over 13 stops of dynamic range. This ensures accurate color reproduction, detailed tonal levels, and effective noise handling. The camera's image stabilizer provides up to 7.5 stops of stabilization, compensating for severe camera shake, even at slower shutter speeds. The improved PDAF autofocus system makes it easy to detect, identify, focus, and track various subjects with precision.
Advanced Video Capabilities
Despite its compact size, the Lumix GH7 is packed with innovative video features typically found in larger cameras. Users can record internally in 5.7K 30p ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes RAW HQ (CFExpress). The ability to record proxy files simultaneously enhances data transfer, editing, and post-production efficiency. Shooting in 5.8K open gate offers flexible framing, allowing you to capture all aspect ratios from a single shot.
Unlimited Recording and Innovative Design
Thanks to an innovative design using graphite with high thermal conductivity, heat is efficiently exhausted throughout the magnesium alloy body, aided by a cooling fan. This minimizes heat generation, allowing for unlimited video recording in C4K/60P without overheating issues. The GH7 also features a Real Time LUT function, enabling users to load and apply original LUT files directly to videos and photos, storing up to 39 different LUTs for versatile color grading.
Enhanced Connectivity and Audio
The GH7 integrates seamlessly with the Frame.io Camera to Cloud platform for efficient editing and collaboration. By connecting to the internet via Wi-Fi or USB tethering, images and proxy videos can be automatically uploaded, streamlining the production and post-production process. Additionally, the DMW-XLR2 microphone adapter, released alongside the GH7, offers the world's first 32-bit float audio recording for DSLRs, providing endless possibilities in post-production to achieve perfect sound quality.
